Zak was delighted to attend the Annual Council meeting of Harrow Council at the Harrow Arts Centre on Thursday 16 May 2024.
The event paid tribute to Cllr Ramji Chauhan, the outgoing Mayor of Harrow, as well as welcoming the new Mayor for 2024-25, Cllr Salim Chowdhury. Cllr Chowdhury is a good friend of Zak's, and Zak gave a speech in honour of his colleague becoming the First Citizen of Harrow, wishing him and his family well for the new mayoral year.
Cllr Anjana Patel was confirmed as the new Deputy Mayor of Harrow.
Zak looks forward to attending many events in the coming months with the Mayor and Deputy Mayor.
