Zak was invited to visit the Stanmore branch of Robothink, on Church Road. Robothink is an educational business that aims to inspire children to love STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) through robotics.
Zak was shown some samples of the work that children attending Robothink courses learn - starting with basic robotics and making models from a young age through to teenagers learning computer programming and coding. It was fascinating for him to understand how this innovative education benefits local children, both in their academic studies but also in developing their wider skillset.
Robothink runs regular weekend and after-school classes, as well as holiday camps. They also visit local schools to run their programmes and classes, and are involved with Harrow Council as an education delivery partner for some of their programmes. It was fantastic to see the positive contribution that they make to the local community. You can find out more about Robothink and book a spot for your children here.
