Zak was delighted to attend a bonfire in celebration of Holi at Shree Swaminarayan Temple in Stanmore on Sunday 24th March 2024.
Holi is a significant Hindu festival celebrated as the Festival of Colours, Love and Spring. It celebrates the eternal and divine love of the deities Radha and Krishna. The bonfire burned symbolises the victory of good over evil. Zak was privileged to attend the celebrations and join the community in marking this auspicious occassion.
Zak was joined by colleagues including the Mayor and Mayoress of Harrow, and other local councillors including Ameet Jogia, Kanti Rabadia, Chetna Halai and Sunita Hirani. It was a wonderful evening of happiness, colour and celebration.
